Feile 2-in-a-row
Happy Mondays!
Published by Anthony McNamee on 31st March 2016.

London buses wouldn’t have a look in. Back in 1985 an under-14 team that featured a young Terry McGivern and Shane Mullen lifted the Down Féile Peil na nÓg title, then went on to All-Ireland success.
It took 30 years for the Down trophy to return to Fr Lynch Park, and on Monday past, on a sunny day at St Colman’s College, Ballyholland only went a did a two-in-a-row.
By all accounts (though if truth be told, my sources that evening were all a little hazy), our young Harps were simply outstanding on the day, and left a trail of destruction behind them en route to a winning final against Kilcoo.
Congratulations to the lads, and to their management team of Mickey, Cathal, Anthony and Paul.
Next stop is the All-Ireland finals in West Kerry, on the weekend of 25 June, when Paddy Savage has been appointed be the official tour guide for the great Ballyholland migration.
The future is so bright.
